UPPRPB Typing Test Hindi (Unicode Font Inscript Keyboard)

The Up Police - UPPRPB conducts Typing Test after main exam for various posts like Sub Inspector (पुलिस उपनिरीक्षक), ASI ( पुलिस सहायक उपनिरीक्षक गोपनीय) , ASI Accountant ( पुलिस सहायक उपनिरीक्षिक लेखा ) and Computer Operator. The UPPRPB permits to use Unicode based Inscript keyboard for Hindi typing test (टंकण परीक्षा). 

Here you can take test on exam like software. In which the time duration will be of 15 Minutes and passage will appear on upper side of screen and you have to type in given text box. You can use backspace key to correct typed words. In UPPRPB Typing Test word highlighting feature will work and greatly help you to keep track of cursor.

As you start typing, your timer will start. After completing typing test, it will show you detailed analysis of your typing skill, Mistakes and WPM Speed as per formula prescribed by the UPPRPB.

UPPRPB Typing Test Evaluation

UPPRPB Typing Test Hindi Evaluation  - In Hindi typing test you will given a passage of 400 words approximate for typing in 15 minutes time duration. Candidate have to type the given passage in a text box. UPPRPB Typing test is a qualifying test, so marks will not be awarded for typing test.

UPPRPB WPM Calculation formula

Case 1 : If in the test of 15 minutes a candidate 'A' have typed total 380 words in which he/she made 10 Mistakes then the calculation will be like:

Total Words Typed by Candidate = 396

Total Mistakes =  10

Net Right words = 396 - 10 = 386

WPM Speed = 386/15 = 25.73 WPM (Qualified)

 

Case 2 : If in the test of 15 minutes a candidate 'B' have typed total 400 Words in which he/she made 36 Mistakes then the calculation will be like:

Total Words Typed by Candidate = 400

Total Mistakes =  21

Net Right words = 400 - 36 = 364

WPM Speed = 364/15 = 24.27 WPM (Not Qualified)

Calculation of Errors

Any word will be compare word by word with given passage, if any word found mismatch will be consider 1 error.
